FestTree operates https://www.festtree.com/. This Privacy Policy explains what information FestTree collects, why it is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to visitors.
FestTree is an editorial website for adult shoppers. It does not sell products directly, create customer accounts, accept payments, or currently operate public comments or a newsletter.
Information we collect
Information you send to us
If you email hello@festtree.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your name, question, correction, or product suggestion. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
FestTree does not currently use a website contact form. Clicking the contact email link opens your email application, and your message is handled by your email provider, ImprovMX, and FestTree’s mailbox provider.
Analytics and usage information
FestTree uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics may process:
- a pseudonymous client identifier;
- page views, sessions, referring pages, and general interaction events;
- approximate location derived from network information;
- browser, device, operating-system, and language information; and
- clicks from FestTree to Amazon, including the FestTree page, the general position of the link, and its product slot.
FestTree’s custom Amazon click event does not send the product ASIN. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are currently disabled. Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses, although network information is processed during collection.
Server and security logs
FestTree’s hosting service automatically records ordinary web-server information, which may include IP address, requested URL, date and time, referring URL, browser or device details, and response or error information. We use these logs to deliver the site, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and protect site security.
Amazon images and links
Some product images are delivered from Amazon’s media servers. When an image loads, Amazon may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser details, referring page, and request time.
FestTree also uses tagged Amazon affiliate links. If you click one, you leave FestTree and Amazon processes the visit under Amazon’s own privacy notice and terms. FestTree does not receive your Amazon account credentials, payment details, delivery address, or complete order record. Amazon may provide FestTree with aggregated reporting about clicks, ordered items, and commissions.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser. Blocking analytics cookies may reduce the accuracy of FestTree’s audience statistics but should not prevent you from reading the site. Google also provides a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics.
FestTree does not currently use advertising cookies or personalized advertising. This Policy will be updated before that changes.
How we use information
FestTree uses the information described above to:
- operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
- understand audience and content performance;
- measure general Amazon outbound engagement;
- respond to emails and correction requests;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and technical attacks; and
- meet legal or contractual obligations.
When information is disclosed
FestTree may disclose limited information to service providers that help operate the site:
- Google Analytics, for website measurement;
- Tencent Cloud Lighthouse, for website hosting in the United States;
- ImprovMX and FestTree’s mailbox provider, for email delivery;
- Amazon, when Amazon-hosted product media loads or a visitor follows an Amazon link.
FestTree may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. FestTree does not sell personal information for money and does not currently use personal information for targeted advertising.
Retention
- Google Analytics user- and event-level data is retained for 14 months under the property’s current retention setting.
- Server logs are ordinarily retained for 30 days, unless a specific security incident or legal obligation requires longer preservation.
- Ordinary email correspondence is ordinarily retained for 24 months after the last substantive message, unless the conversation remains active or longer retention is reasonably needed for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed for these purposes, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and whether a law applies to FestTree’s processing, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or limit certain uses.
To make a privacy request, email hello@festtree.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may ask for limited information needed to verify and complete the request. FestTree will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You can also:
- control or delete cookies in your browser;
- use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on; and
- avoid loading Amazon pages by not following Amazon links.
Children’s privacy
FestTree is directed to adult shoppers, including parents shopping for seasonal products. It is not directed to children under 13, and FestTree does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to FestTree, contact hello@festtree.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
FestTree uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the site and the limited information it handles. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
International processing
FestTree’s website is hosted in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.
Third-party sites
FestTree links to third-party websites, especially Amazon. FestTree does not control their privacy, security, prices, availability, or transaction practices. Review the third party’s policies before providing information or making a purchase.
Changes to this Policy
FestTree may update this Privacy Policy when site practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
